experience will be gained using test logs and data to monitor
performance and troubleshoot engines.

This course is offered only at the customer’s facility using the
customer’s tooling and engine-build groups.
Note: The number of build groups selected for training determines total course length.
Training days = 3 to 35 days based on an eight-hour day.
Engine Change – Bootstrap Method – All Models (2 Days)

Gives engine-change team members the knowledge required to
remove and install an engine using the bootstrap method. Engine
bootstrap tooling installation and removal tasks will be performed.

preparing the engine for removal and installation.
System Familiarization – All Models (2 Days)
ATA Level: I Class Size: 15 Course Code: 2031 (B757)
Provides an introduction to engine design features and an
overview of engine systems, performance and ground operations.
Line and Base Maintenance – All Models (8 Days)
ATA Level: III Class Size: 12 Course Code: 2033 (B757)
Designed for maintenance technicians and other personnel
associated with line and base maintenance. This course provides a
detailed description of system operation, component location,
onboard reporting systems and fault isolation procedures to
aircraft maintenance manual level.
Borescope Inspection Procedures – All Models (2 Days)
ATA Level: IV Class Size: 4 Course Code: 2030 (B757)
Designed for technicians responsible for performing borescope
inspection of the engine gaspath condition. The course consists
primarily of practical exercises using borescope equipment, a
training engine, mockups and worksheets to develop critical
investigative and interpretive skills.
Compressor Blade Blending – All Models
ATA Level: IV Class Size: 2 to 3 (3 Days); 4 (4 Days)
Course Code: 2012 (6th through 9th Stage)
Provides important hands-on experience required to develop
necessary investigative and interpretative skills while using
specialized equipment to detect, interpret, evaluate and repair
damage in the compressor gaspath. Customer must supply
blade-blending equipment required for this training. Requires
