D. On the outboard nacelle struts, lubricate the strut-to-wing attach fittings and the spring beam fittings.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE LE FLAP SAFETY LOCK. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE SAFETY LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Open the TE fairing doors (AMM 54-62-00/201).

On inboard struts, remove the diagonal brace lubrication access.

Put grease into the fuse pin fitting of the spring beam (on wing attach fitting).

Add grease until it comes out from the sides of the fuse pin joint.
(b)
Clean the unwanted grease from around the fuse pin joint.

(5) Put grease into the fitting of the aft fuse pin on the diagonal brace.

Add grease until it comes out from the sides of the fuse pin joint.

Clean the unwanted grease from around the fuse pin joint.
