 CAUTION: ON SEALED BEARINGS, DO NOT APPLY GREASE WITH A
_______ PRESSURE MORE THAN 2500 PSI. LUBRICATION PRESSURE FROM 100-200 PSI IS NORMALY SUFFICIENT. SEALED BEARINGS CAN BE DAMAGED BY TOO MUCH PRESSURE.
 (1)  If a special grease gun is available, do these steps to lubricate the rudder hinges:
 (a)  
Get access to rudder hinge points from the right side of the rudder.

 (b)  
Lubricate the rudder hinges.

 (2)  If a special grease gun is not available, do these steps to
 lubricate the rudder hinges with the standard grease gun:

 (a)  
Get access to rudder hinge points from the right side of the rudder. 1) Remove the hinge covers.

 (b)  
Lubricate the rudder hinges.

 G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
 S 863-010
 (1) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
 (a)  P180 DC Power Distribution Panel
 1) 180E7 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 2
 2) 180E22 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 4
 3) 180H8 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 1
 4) 180H23 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 3

 S 863-011
 (2)  
Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER - TAIL switches No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel, P461, to NORM.

 (3)  
Do this task: "Remove Electrical Power" (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 (4)  
Close the access panels (Ref 06-09-07/201).

 E. Prepare for the Lubrication

Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (2)  
Remove hydraulic power from all four hydraulic systems (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 (3)  
Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER - TAIL switches No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel, P461, to SHUTOFF.

 (4)
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 (a)  P180 DC Power Distribution Panel
 1) 180E7 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 2
 2) 180E22 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 4
 3) 180H8 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 1
 4) 180H23 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 3
 5) 180H8 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 1
 6) 180H23 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 3

 (5)  Open these access panels 324HL (upper rudder) (AMM 06-09-07/201).
 F. Lubricate the Upper Rudder Actuators

 (1)  Lubricate the end of the actuator control rods that is connected to the rudder.
