(4) S 863-035Open the door to get access to the components.
(5) S 643-054Lubricate the components as shown in Fig. 316.
(6) S 863-037Remove the safety barrier and close and latch the crew service door.
(7) S 413-056Install the door lining.
(8) S 093-040Remove the maintenance stand outboard of the crew service door.

CABLE - SERVICING

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is to clean the cables. The second task is for lubricating the carbon steel control cables.
NOTE: Stainless steel cables must not be lubricated.

(1) To lubricate the control cables these operations are necessary:
-Get access to the control cables
-Clean the control cables
-Apply grease to the control cables.
B. Most of the control cables which need lubrication are operated from the control cabin. They can be located in the main deck ceiling area. To get access to most of the control cables, remove the ceiling panels. From the ceiling area, the cables go to control points in the airplane. Look at the applicable maintenance manual section for information on cable routing.
