(7) S 083-017Do this task to remove the inboard elevator holding tool: (a) Use the elevator holding tool to lower the elevator. (b) Remove the elevator holding tool.
(8) S 413-000Close the access panels (Ref 06-09-06/201).

STABILIZER TRIM DRIVE SYSTEM - SERVICING (LUBRICATION)

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. The first task is for the lubrication of the stabilizer trim jackscrew, upper and lower gimbals. The second task is for the lubrication of the primary brake housing. The procedure has these parts:
(1)
The lubrication of the safety shaft of the upper and lower gimbal
(2)
The lubrication of the upper and lower gimbals
(3)
The lubrication of the jackscrew upper ballnut and the stabilizer trim jackscrew
(4)
The removal of the fill cap from the primary brake housing
(5)
The supply of the MIL-H-5606 in the primary brake housing
(6)
The installation of the fill cap.
