Remove the lining from the main entry door (Ref 52-11-02/401).

Put the maintenance stand immediately outboard of the main entry door.

Remove the door maintenance access panel from the fuselage, forward of the main entry door, if it is necessary.

Make sure that the mode selector lever is in the disarmed
 (MANUAL/DISARM) position.

 WARNING: DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR UNLESS THE MODE SELECTOR LEVER IS IN THE
_______ DISARMED (MANUAL/DISARM) POSITION. IF YOU OPEN THE DOOR IN THE ARMED (AUTOMATIC/ARM) MODE, THE EMERGENCY POWER RESERVOIR WILL SUPPLY THE DOOR WITH POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE.
 (5)  
Open the main entry door.

Lubricate the main entry doors as shown in Figures 302 through 304.

Close and latch the main entry door.

 (8)  
Install the door maintenance access panel, if you removed.

 (9)  
Remove the maintenance stand immediately outboard of the main entry door.

 Install the lining for the main entry door (Ref 52-11-02/401).
