Pull ALTM LOW R1 circuit breaker and check that warning flag on captain's height indicator comes into view.

A height indicator is not provided on airplanes with a LRRA-3 system. Check operational status of this system by opening ALTM LOW R3 circuit breaker on the P126 panel. The LRRA-3 failure annunciator display on the pilots' P2 panel changes to red. Close the circuit breaker. The LRRA-3 failure annunciator changes to black signifying LRRA-3 system is operational.

On AF, AT, GN, MD airplanes, turn off captain's and first officer's LRRA system in turn at applicable height indicator and check that OFF flag comes into view covering warning flag. Return systems to on.

Restore LRRA-1, -2, and -3 to normal.

Remove electrical power if no longer required (Ref 24-22-00).

LRRA RECEIVER/TRANSMITTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General

A. The LRRA receiver/transmitters are located in center equipment center E9 and retained in their mount by means of two knurled clamp nuts.

A. 24-22-00, Maintenance Practices (Apply Power)
3. Remove LRRA Receiver/Transmitter________________________________
A. Open ALTM LOW Rl or ALTM LOW R2 circuit breaker on overhead circuit breaker panel P7, as applicable for R/T unit being replaced.
B. On AZ ALL, LH 004-099, SN 351-399 and IB 406-499,
open circuit breaker ALTM LOW R3 on circuit breaker panel P126.
C. Loosen knurled nut securing unit to rack mounting.
D. Pull unit out of mounting to disengage electrical connector and remove unit.
4. Install LRRA Receiver/Transmitter_________________________________
