A. AIRPLANES WITH GLIDESLOPE TRACK ANTENNA PART NO. 65B47515-4; BA Three glide slope antennas are installed in each aft nose gear wheel BA well door. The glide slope antennas must be replaced as part of the BA wheel well door assembly. Refer to 32-22-02, Aft Nose Wheel Well BA Doors - Removal/Installation.
GLIDE SLOPE TRACK ANTENNA - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION 2. AIRPLANES WITH GLIDESLOPE TRACK ANTENNA PART NO. 65b47588-1;
General A. This subject has two tasks. The first task is the removal of the glide slope track antenna. The second task is the installation of the glide slope track antenna. Parts of the ILS System Test must be done after the installation of the glide slope track antenna. 3. Glide Slope Track Antenna Removal A. General (1) There are two glide slope track antennas installed in the aft wheel well doors of the nose gear. The left and center dual glide slope track antenna (B559) is in the leading edge of the left door. The right dual glide slope track antenna (B561) is in the leading edge of the right door. (2) The removal procedures are the same for each antenna. B. Standard Tools and Equipment (1) Spatula - sealant removal tool, hardwood or plastic C. References (1) AMM 32-00-30/201, Landing Gear Door Locks (2) AMM 51-31-01/201, Seals and Sealing D. Access (1) Location Zones 113 Nose Gear Well, LH 114 Nose Gear Well, RH E. Procedure (1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags: (a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel 1) 7A6 NAV RADIO ILS L 2) 7B6 NAV RADIO ILS C 3) 7B17 NAV RADIO ILS R
WARNING:_______YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT. (2) Do this task to install door locks: Nose Landing Gear Door Lock Installation (AMM 32-00-30/201). (3) Remove the access panel. (4) Remove the fillet seal compound from around the antenna (AMM 51-31-01/201).
