NOTE:____ Verify that AFCS is not engaged in VOR/LOC, ILS or LAND mode
with channel A, B or C in command or glide slope antenna
coaxial relay test will be inhibited.
(4) Actuate GLIDE SLOPE ANT TEST switches 1, 2 and 3 on panel P2 in
turn. Check that G/S-1 ANT, G/S-2 ANT or G/S-3 ANT annunciator
comes on when the associated TEST switch is actuated and goes off
when switch is released.
(5) Open GS2 circuit breaker on overhead circuit breaker panel P7.
(6) Deactivate reed proximity switches S397 and S424 on nose landing
gear strut using ferrite bars to simulate a gear up condition for
primary landing gear logic unit M93. Check that G/S-1 ANT and
G/S-3 ANT annunciators come on.
(7) Remove ferrite bars from switches S397 and S424. Check that G/S-1
ANT and G/S-3 ANT annunciators go out.
(8) Close GS2 circuit breaker and open GS1 circuit breaker on panel P7.
(9) Deactivate reed proximity switches S397 and S424 on nose landing
gear strut using ferrite bars to simulate a gear up condition for
alternate langing gear logic unit M809. Check that G/S-2 ANT and
G/S-3 ANT annunciators come on.
(10)
Remove ferrite bars from switches S397 and S424. Check that G/S-2 ANT and G/S-3 ANT annunciators go out.
(11)
Close GS1 circuit breaker on panel P7.
(12)
Remove electrical power if no longer required (Ref 24-22-00).

_________________________________________________
1. General
_______
A. The glide slope antenna hybrids (one on AF 121, 122, 152-156, 158-160, 162-182, 185-199, AND AF 157, 161, 183, 184 WITH SB 34-2264; GN ALL; MD ALL and VM ALL; and two on LH 001-010; AF 101-151; AZ 201-220; IB 405 and SN 301-350 are installed on the forward side of station 400 bulkhead in the lower forward equipment bay. The hybrids are secured to the mounting structure by screws and have provisions for connecting four coaxial cables.

3. Remove Glide Slope Antenna Hybrid
_________________________________
A. Disconnect coaxial cables from hybrid.
B. Remove screws securing hybrid to station 400 bulkhead. Use care not to drop hybrid as it comes loose from support.
4. Install Glide Slope Antenna Hybrid
__________________________________
A. Position hybrid on mounting base and install screws.
B. Connect coaxial cables to hybrid and hand-tighten.
C. Perform prepare-to-test and glide slope test portions of system test (Ref 34-31-00).
