Open GS 1 and GS 2 circuit breakers.

 (l)
Disconnect jumper wires grounding pins 35 and 36 of DM93 and DM809 and connect DM93 and DM809 to landing gear logic units.

 (m)
Close GS 1 and GS 2 circuit breakers on P7. Check that ADI and HSI glide slope flags remain in view.

 (n)
Reconnect glide slope track antenna cables DB554B and DB555B to hybrid couplers on P31 and P32. Check that ADI and HSI glide slope flags disappear.

 (o)
Vary glide slope test signal in deviation and output level and check for proper ADI and HSI glide slope flag and pointer operation.

 (p)
Turn off equipment, disconnect and repack signal generators and remove electrical power if no longer required.

 (5)  Relay Test No. 2
 (a)
Tune captain's VOR/ILS navigation system to ILS frequency of

108.10 MHz. Check that captain's ADI and HSI glide slope flags and pointers are in view.

 (b)
Operate signal generator to provide a maximum ON-COURSE glide slope test signal at 334.70 MHz. Check that captain's ADI and HSI glide slope flags disappear and that glide slope pointers are centered.

 (c)
Reduce glide slope test signal level until captain's ADI and HSI glide slope flags appear.

 (d)
Increase glide slope test signal to a level just above captain's ADI and HSI glide slope flag retraction.

 (e)
Disconnect glide slope track antenna cable DB554B from glide slope antenna hybrid on panel P31. Check that captain's ADI and HSI glide slope flags reappear.

 (f)
Deactivate (target) reed proximity switch S397 on nose landing gear strut using a ferrite bar to simulate a gear up condition for primary landing gear logic unit M93. Check that captain's ADI and HSI glide slope flags disappear and that glide slope pointers are centered.

 (g)
Remove ferrite bar from switch S397. Check that captain's ADI and HSI glide slope flags reappear.

 (h)
Connect track antenna cable DB554B to hybrid coupler B554 on panel P31. Check that captain's ADI and HSI glide slope flags disappear and that glide slope pointers are centered.

 (i)
Repeat steps (a) thru (d) for first officer's VOR/ILS navigation system. Check that first officer's ADI and HSI glide slope displays are same as specified for captain's ADI and HSI.

 (j)
Disconnect glide slope track antenna cable DB555B from glide slope antenna hybrid on panel P32. Check that first officer's ADI and HSI glide slope flags reappear.

 (k)
Deactivate reed proximity switch S424 on nose landing gear strut using a ferrite bar to simulate a gear up condition for alternate landing gear logic unit M809. Check that first officer's ADI and HSI glide slope flags disappear and the glide slope pointers are centered.

 (l)
Remove ferrite bar from switch S424. Check that first officer's ADI and HSI glide slope flags reappear.

 (m)
Connect track antenna cable DB555B to hybrid coupler B555 on panel P32. Check that first officer's ADI and HSI glide slope flags disappear and that glide slope pointers are centered.

 (n)
Turn off equipment, disconnect and repack signal generators and remove electrical power if no longer required.

 K.  Glide Slope Antenna Coaxial Relay Test (LH 011-099; AF 121, 122, 152-156, 158-160, 162-182, 185-199, AND AF 157, 161, 183, 184 WITH SB 34-2264; AZ 221-299; SN 351-399; IB 406-499; AT ALL; GN ALL; MD ALL; and VM ALL) The following procedure combines the coaxial relay test with a check of the glide slope capture antenna. To test operation of the coaxial relays only, depress the applicable G/S ANT test switch on center instrument panel P2 and check that associated annunciator comes on.
 (1)  Disconnect glide slope track antenna cables DB404A and DB405A at
glide slope coaxial relay panels P31 and P32.
NOTE: Ignore any flags that appear due to antenna being____
 disconnected.
 (2)  On LH 011-099; AZ 221-299; SN 351-399; IB 406-499,
disconnect glide slope track antenna cable DB119A at relay panel
 P31.
 (3)  Tune VOR/ILS navigation system to ILS frequency of 108.10 MHz.
Check that ADI and HSI glide slope flags and pointers are in view.
 (4)  Operate signal generator to provide a maximum ON-COURSE glide slope
 test signal at 334.70 MHz.
 (5)  Depress Glide Slope Ant 1 or 2 test switch on the pilots' Center
Instrument Panel and check that corresponding G/S-1 ANT or G/S-2
 ANT annunciator illuminates.
