A. General
(1) This section gives the procedure to park the aircraft in standard weather conditions but:
(a) If the aircraft is parked in high wind conditions:
-do a check of the aircraft stability (Ref. TASK 05-57-00-200-001)
-moor the aircraft (Ref. TASK 10-20-00-556-001) if necessary.
R (b) If the aircraft is kept in storage in cold weather conditions:
-do the cold weather maintenance procedures: (Ref. TASK 12-31-21-660-001), (Ref. TASK 12-31-24-660-001), (Ref. TASK 12-31-25-660-001), (Ref. TASK 12-31-27-660-001), (Ref. B. Cleaning of the Aircraft
(1)
If necessary, clean the aircraft externally (Ref. TASK 12-21-11-615-001).

C. Safety Precautions
(1)
Park the aircraft on a flat surface. Make sure that the wheels of the nose landing gear are on the aircraft axis and the aircraft points into the wind.
(2)
Install the safety devices on the landing gears (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3)
Make sure that the flaps, the slats, the spoilers and the thrust reversers are retracted.
(4)
Make sure that the THS is set to two degrees up.
R (5) Put the wheel chocks in position:

(a) For the NLG:
-in front of and behind the wheels.
(b) For the MLG: R - in front of and behind the wheels.
NOTE : The wheel chocks on the nose landing gear and the parking
____ brake give more safety in bad weather.
(6) Ground the aircraft (Ref. TASK 12-34-24-869-002).

D. Aircraft Configuration
(1)
Energize the electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
If necessary refuel the fuel tanks to 30% minimum of their total capacity (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003) or (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-004).

(1) Potable water system
R (a) If the parking period is more than 2 days: R - drain, flush and dry the system if necessary (Ref. TASK 12-24-38-680-001) R
(2) Toilet system
(a) If the parking period is more than 2 days:
-drain, flush and clean the system with disinfectant if necessary (Ref. TASK 12-16-38-613-001).

C. Protection of the Windows
(1)
Open the cockpit and cabin window shades.
(2)
Make sure that the sliding windows are closed.
(3)
We recommend that you put a SUN SCREEN SET - COCKPIT (25-01-000) in the cockpit on all the windows.
