A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the aircraft in position on a flat surface with the mooring
points and make sure it is parked into the wind and the wheel of the R nose landing gear is on the aircraft axis.

(1) Make sure the aircraft is stable (Ref. TASK 05-57-00-200-001).

D. Visual Inspection
(1)
Make sure that the flaps, the slats, the spoilers, the speed brakes and the thrust reverser are retracted.
(2)
Make sure that the THS is set to neutral.
(3)
Make sure that the sliding windows of the cockpit are closed.
(4) Make sure that the passenger/crew doors and the cargo compartment doors are closed.

A. Mooring of the Nose Landing Gear
(1) With the Mooring kit
(a) Put the MOORING KIT - NLG (98D10203500000) in position.
(2) Or with Ropes (Ref. Fig. 201/TASK 10-20-00-991-002, 202/TASK 10-20-00-991-003)
(a) Attach the short ropes (1) of a diameter of 50.8 mm (2.0000 in.) in position on the towing lug of the nose landing gear with the NLG shackles.
R R R NOTE : If manila or sisal rope is used, make sure that there is____ not too much tension on the rope because contraction can occur in wet weather.
(b) Attach the other ropes (2) of a diameter of 50.8 mm (2.0000 in.).
(c) Attach all the ropes on the ground with the mooring points. Put tension on this assembly.

B. Mooring of the Main Landing Gear with Ropes (Ref. Fig. 202/TASK 10-20-00-991-003, 203/TASK 10-20-00-991-001)
(1) Attach the ropes (3) and (4) of a diameter of 50.8 mm (2.0000 in.) on the towing lug and the debogging lug of the main landing gear.
R R R NOTE : If manila or sisal rope is used, make sure that there is not____ too much tension on the rope because contraction can occur in wet weather.
R R (2) Attach the ropes on the ground with the mooring points. Put tension on this assembly.
