__________
Subtask 10-11-00-615-051
A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 15M (49 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position near the aircraft.
(2)
Put a warning notice in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the systems while you prepare the aircraft for operation again.
4. Procedure
_________
Subtask 10-11-00-941-051
A. Aircraft Configuration
(1)
Do a general visual inspection of the airframe from the ground for correct condition.
(a) Make sure that there are no leaks from:
-
the wings
-
the lower fuselage
-
the landing gear
-
the engines
-
the APU
-
the horizontal and vertical stabilizers.
(2)
If necessary, clean the aircraft externally (Ref. TASK 12-21-11-615-001).
Subtask 10-11-00-020-063
B. Removal of the Protection Equipment
(1) Remove all the protection equipment from the engines, the APU, the probes.
Subtask 10-11-00-860-066
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Connect the batteries 2PB1, 2PB2 and make sure that the battery charge is correct (Ref. TASK 24-38-51-400-001).
(2)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3)
On the overhead panel 25VU, on the CABIN PRESS section:
-Push the DITCHING pushbutton switch to open the ventilation skin valves and the outflow valve.
Subtask 10-11-00-680-053
D. Protection of the fuel system
(1)
Do a fuel sampling for microbiological contamination (Ref. TASK 12-32-28-281-003) or (Ref. TASK 12-32-28-281-004).
(2)
If you find contamination, do a shock treatment :
-
if premixed fuel with biocide is available (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-004) or (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-004)
-
if premixed fuel with biocide is not available (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-004) or (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-004).
(3)
Drain water from all the fuel tanks (Ref. TASK 12-32-28-281-001) NOTE : Do the water drain procedure one hour after refueling is
____
completed.
EFF : ALL 10-11-00Page 232 May 01/05R CES
(4) Do a check of all the fuel tanks for leakage (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-280-002).
Subtask 10-11-00-210-062
E. Inspection
(1)
Do a check of the charge pressure of the landing gear shock absorbers:
-
for the NLG (Ref. TASK 12-14-32-614-004)
-
for the MLG (Ref. TASK 12-14-32-614-003)
