(1) Close the valve of the crew oxygen-cylinder assembly.
(a)
In the cockpit, on the panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).
(b)
On one of the oxygen masks, operate the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET slide a sufficient number of times to make the system empty.
(c)
On the panel 21VU, release the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).

P. Protection of the Rain Protection System
(1)
Do the deactivation of the rain repellent system (Ref. TASK 30-45-00-040-002).

Put plastic bags or films on the two spray nozzles and attach them on the structure with adhesive tape.

(1)
Lubricate the sliding windows (Ref. TASK 12-22-56-600-001).
(2)
Open the cockpit and cabin window shades.
(3)
Protect externally the cockpit and cabin windows with STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-002) and adhesive tape. Do not apply adhesive tape on the windows.
(4)

R. Removal of Equipment
(1)
Remove the Digital Flight Data Recorder 1TU (Ref. TASK 31-33-55-000-001).
(2)
Remove the Cockpit Voice Recorder 1RK (Ref. TASK 23-71-35-000-001).

Remove the batteries of:
-all the EPSU (Ref. TASK 33-51-38-000-002),
-
the megaphones,
-
the flashlights.
(4)
Remove the emergency locator beacon.
(5)
If the external temperature is more than 70 DEG.C (158.00 DEG.F), remove:

the cargo fire-extinguishing bottles and cartridges (Ref. TASK 26-23-41-000-004).

the engine fire-extinguishing bottles and cartridges (Ref. TASK 26-21-41-000-004).
-
the APU extinguishing-bottle and cartridge (Ref. TASK 26-22-41-000-001).
