R  Subtask 10-12-00-620-094 
R  A. Protection 
R  (1) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-043) on all the seals of the 
R  doors. 
R  (2) Make sure that all the doors operate correctly. 
R  Subtask 10-12-00-210-079 
R  B. Inspection 
R  (1) Make sure that the extension of the landing gear shock absorbers is 
R  correct. 
R  (2) Do a check of the pressure of the oxygen cylinders. 
R  (3) Do a fuel sampling for microbiological contamination (Ref. TASK 12-
R  32-28-281-003) or (Ref. TASK 12-32-28-281-004). 
R  (4) If you find contamination: 
R  (a) Do a shock treatment : 
R  - if premixed fuel with biocide is available (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-
R  600-004) or (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-004). 
R  - If premixed fuel with biocide is not available (Ref. TASK 28-
R  11-00-600-004) or (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-004). 
R  (b) Do a preventive treatment : 
R  1_  If premixed fuel is available:
R  - refuel the wing tanks to 90% to the total capacity with fuel 
R  premixed with biocide (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-007) or 
R  (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-007). 
R  - Refuel the center tank to 30% to the total capacity with 
R  fuel premixed with biocide (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-007) or 
R  (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-007). 
R  2_  If premixed fuel is not available:
R  - Refuel the wing tanks to 90% of the total capacity with fuel 
R  not premixed with biocide (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-007) or 
R  (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-007).

 -Refuel the center tank to 30% of the total capacity with no premixed fuel with biocide (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-007) or (Ref. TASK 28-11-00-600-007).
 (5) Drain water from all the fuel tanks (Ref. TASK 12-32-28-281-001) NOTE : Do the water drain procedure one hour after refueling is
____
 completed.

 (6) Close all the fuel system valves.

 C. Do these Tests:
 (1)
 Do a test of the avionics equipment ventilation (Ref. TASK 21-26-00-710-001).

 (2)
 If the aft cargo-compartment ventilation-system is installed, do a test of the aft cargo-compartment ventilation-system (Ref. TASK 21-28-00-710-006).

 (3)
 If the FWD cargo-compartment ventilation-system is installed, do a test of the FWD cargo-compartment ventilation-system (Ref. TASK 21-28-00-720-003).

 (4)
 Do a test of the wing ice-protection system (Ref. TASK 30-11-00-710-001).

 (5)
 Do a test of the engine air intake ice protection (Ref. TASK 30-21-00-710-001).

 (6)
 Do a test of the ENG 1(2) LP fuel valve 12MQ(13MQ) (Ref. TASK 28-24-00-710-002).

 5. Close-up

 A. Put the Aircraft back to its Initial Configuration
 (1)
 On the overhead panel 25VU, on the CABIN PRESS section:

 -Push the DITCHING pushbutton switch to close the avionics ventilation skin valves.

 (2)
 De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits supplied from the external power (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

 (3)
 Close the passenger/crew doors (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).

 (4)
 Close the FWD and AFT cargo-compartement doors (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

 (5)
 Close the bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-008).

 (6)
 Close the emergency exit doors (Ref. TASK 52-22-00-410-001).

 (7)
 Seal with STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-002) and adhesive tape:

 -
the avionics ventilation system inlets and outlets (15HQ and 22HQ)

 -
the outflow valve (10HL)

 -
the doors and the handles.

 (8)
 Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.

 (1)
 On the overhead panel 25VU, on the CABIN PRESS section:

 -Push the DITCHING pushbutton switch to close the avionics ventilation skin valves.
