S. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
On the overhead panel 25 VU, on the CABIN PRESS section:
-Push the DITCHING pushbutton switch to close the ventilation skin valves and the outflow valve.
(2)
If the storage period is more than 2 days:
(a) Disconnect and remove the batteries 2PB1 and 2PB2 (Ref. TASK 24-38-51-000-001).

(1)
Close all the pressurized access doors.
(2)
Close the passenger/crew doors (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(3)
Close the FWD and aft cargo-compartment doors (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4)
Close the bulk cargo door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
(5)
Close all the landing gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-22-00-410-001), (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(6)
Close all the access door panels that you opened during the storage procedure.
(7)
Seal with STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-002) and adhesive tape all the openings that give access to :
-
the passenger compartment,
-
the cockpit,
-
the cargo compartment,
-
the APU,
-
the engines,
-
the landing gears.
(8)
Seal with adhesive tape:
-
the passenger/crew door handles,
-
the emergency exit door handles,
-
the FWD and aft cargo door handles,
-
the bulk cargo door handle,
-
the avionics-compartment door handles.
(9)
Depressurize the aircraft hydraulic systems (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-864-001), (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-864-001), (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
(10) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
(12)
Make an entry in the aircraft log book or attach a tag on the Captain side stick to tell the crew that the protection covers/devices are installed.

(1)
Close all the pressurized access doors.
(2)
Close the passenger/crew doors (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).

(4)
Close all the landing gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-22-00-410-001), (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(5)
Close all the access door panels that you opened during the storage procedure.
(6)
Seal with STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-002) and adhesive tape all the openings that give access to:

the passenger compartment,

the cockpit,
-
the cargo compartment,
-
the APU,
-
the engines,
-
the landing gears.
(7)
Seal with adhesive tape:
-
the passenger/crew door handles,
-
the emergency exit door handles,
-
the FWD and aft cargo door handles,
-
the avionics-compartment door handles.
(8)
