‐ Select and pull the predetermined target speed on the FCU.
Note: The speed selection on the FCU must be made when above 150 ft RA.
‐ This action disengages the SRS mode and reverts to OPEN CLB.
‐ Accelerate to the new target speed following FD bars.
‐ When the target speed is reached resume climb to the GA altitude following the FD bars.

‐ Push to select managed speed or select appropriate speed to accelerate.
‐ Retract flaps on schedule.
Note: Consider the next step :
‐ Engage NAV mode, to follow the published missed approach procedure, or
‐ Prepare for a second approach by selecting the ACTIVATE APP PHASE, and
CONFIRM on the PERF page.

LANDING CONFIGURATION DETERMINATION
Applicable to:
LANDING CONFIGURATION DETERMINATION
During the approach briefing, determine the landing configuration.
FULL is preferred for ‐ shorter landing distance and reduced VLS.
‐ Check if the aircraft weight is below the maximum weight given in the table below. If so, retain
CONF FULL as landing configuration and CONF 3 as go-around configuration.
‐ If the aircraft weight is above the maximum weight given in the table below use FLAP 3
for landing. In all cases, if landing configuration is different from FLAP FULL, use 1+F for
go-around.
A go-around target speed increase may be necessary for the landing weight (Refer to
PRO-SPO-32 GO-AROUND TARGET SPEED DETERMINATION ). Verify also that the landing
weight is not higher than the maximum allowed (corresponding to 1.41 Vs1g).

GO-AROUND TARGET SPEED DETERMINATION
Applicable to:
GO-AROUND TARGET SPEED DETERMINATION
Use the table of the following page to determine the increase in the go-around speed as a function
of the landing weight, the altitude and the OAT.
The values provided in the table are, for each cell :

M1 = Maximum go-around weight for 1.23 Vs1g
V1 = Go-around speed for 1.23 Vs1g
M2 = Maximum go around weight for 1.41 Vs1g
V2 = Go-around speed for 1.41 Vs1g
Method to use the table :
‐ Determine the corrected maximum go-around weight for 1.23 Vs1g (corrected M1) using
corrections at the bottom of following charts.
‐ If landing weight is less than the corrected maximum go-around weight for 1.23 Vs1g (corrected
M1), no target speed increment is necessary.
‐ Verify that the landing weight is not greater than the maximum allowed corresponding to 1.41
Vs1g (corrected M2), otherwise, the pilot should find a suitable diversion airport. If landing
weight is greater than the corrected maximum go-around weight for 1.23 Vs1g (corrected M1)
interpolate, within the current cell, to find the go-around target speed that corresponds to the
landing weight.
