Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
1) On the miscellaneous electrical equipment panel, P70: a) 70B2, AFT EQPT COOLING FAN EXH NO. 2
(c)
Make sure the No. 1 fan is on.

If the No. 2 fan was installed:
(a)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
1) On the miscellaneous electrical equipment panel, P70: a) 70B2, AFT EQPT COOLING FAN EXH NO. 2
(b)
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
1) On the right miscellaneous electrical equipment panel, P37: a) 37D5, AFT EQPT COOLING FAN EXH NO. 1
(c)
Make sure the No. 2 fan is on.

Feel for airflow around the fan.
(a)
A small leak is permitted.
(b)
You must repair a large leak.

Put the airplane back to its usual condition.

(2) S 864-034If the No. 2 fan was installed: (a) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker: 1) On the right miscellaneous electrical equipment panel, P37: a) 37D5, AFT EQPT COOLING FAN EXH NO. 1
(3) S 414-028Install the bulkhead lining in the aft end of the bulk cargo compartment (AMM 25-50-03/401).
(4) S 414-029Close the No. 2 cargo door, 822 (AMM 06-46-00/201).
(5) S 864-030Remove the electrical power, if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

VENTILATION CHECK VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. One check valve is installed forward of each aft equipment ventilation fan, aft of the bulk cargo compartment. The check valves make sure that the air does not flow in the opposite direction in the ventilation system.
B. This procedure has instructions to remove and install the ventilation check valves.
