Overhead Distribution Duct Removal

Disconnect the flex sleeves (2) between the distribution duct (1) and the plenum/nozzle assembly (4) as follows:
(a)
Loosen the clamps (5) that hold the flex sleeves (2) to the distribution duct (1).

Remove the ends of the flex sleeves (2) from the distribution duct (1).
(c)
Keep the orifice assemblies (3) to use with the replacement duct assembly.

Remove the tape (6) that connects the diffuser/hose assemblies (7) to the distribution duct (1).

Remove the straps (8) that hold the distribution duct (1) to the bracket assemblies (9).

Loosen the clamps (10) that secure the flex sleeves (11) at each end of the distribution duct (1).

Support the distribution duct (1) and slide the flex sleeves (11) away from the ends of the duct.

Put the distribution duct (1) in its position above the ceiling panels.

Slide the flex sleeves (11) onto the ends of the distribution duct

as follows:
(a)
Make sure each flex sleeve (11) overlaps the duct end by 1.63 +/- 0.13 inches (41.4 +/- 3.3 mm).

(b) Loosely position the duct clamps (10) 0.38 +/- 0.13 inches
(9.65 +/- 3.3 mm) from the ends of the flex sleeves (11).

Install the orifice assemblies (3) in the same locations from which they were removed.

Install the flex sleeves (2) between the distribution duct (1) and the plenum/nozzle assembly (4) as follows:
(a)
Move the ends of the flex sleeves (2) over the nozzles on the distribution duct (1) with the orifice assemblies (3) in position.
