R  (Ref. AMM TASK 49-61-34-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-61-34-
R  400-003). 
R  D. If the PD is more than 8 psig lower than PT (ECS or MES mode): 
R  NOTE : PD = main engine precooler inlet air pressure (source BMC).____ 
R  NOTE : As a rule of thumb, the pressure drop accross the cross bleed____ 
R  valve is 3 psig, therefore PD (RTL mode) shows approx. 3 psig 
R  higher than PD (ECS or MES mode). 
R  - check on the MCDU the load control valve position (the ADW1 parameter 
R  shows a 9 in the last position i.e. 08509 = load control valve open). 
R  (1) If the ADW1 shows that the load control valve is not open (e.g. ADW1 
R  = 08108): 
R  - replace the LOAD CONTROL VALVE P12 (Ref. AMM TASK 49-51-51-000-004) 
R  and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-51-51-400-004). 
R  (2) If the ADW1 shows that load control valve is fully open (e.g. ADW1 = 
R  08109): 
R  - in the APU compartment, do a check of the load control valve 
R  position. 
R  (a) If the load control valve is fully open: 
R  - do a check of the APU bleed system for leaks. 
R  1_  If the fault continues:
R  - do the trouble shooting procedure of low air pressure in the 
R  right crossbleed duct (Ref. TASK 36-12-00-810-804). 
R  E. If the LCIT is more than 10 deg.C higher than the outside air temperature 
R  (TAT): 
R  - check for hot gas ingestion (make sure that the main engine exhaust is 
R  not blown into the APU air intake), 
R  - check for hot gas leaks at the APU compressor split lines.

R (1) If the fault appears to be intermitted:
R - do a check and repair of the aircraft wiring
R from the ECB (59KD) AB/H3,H4 to the electrical connector P1/7,6
R and
R from P1/7,6 to the Inlet Temp Sensor P6/B,A
R (Ref. ASM 49-61/02)
R - replace the INLET TEMP SENSOR (P6) (Ref. AMM TASK 49-23-14-000-001)
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-23-14-400-001).

R (a) If the fault continues:
R - replace the ECB (59KD) (Ref. AMM TASK 49-61-34-000-001) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 49-61-34-400-001).

R F. If the LCIT is more than 10 deg.C lower than the outside air temperature
R (TAT):
R - do a check and repair of the aircraft wiring
R from the ECB (59KD) AB/H3,H4 to the electrical connector P1/7,6
R and
R from P1/7,6 to the Inlet Temp Sensor P6/B,A
R (Ref. ASM 49-61/02)
R - replace the INLET TEMP SENSOR (P6) (Ref. AMM TASK 49-23-14-000-001) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 49-23-14-400-001).

R (1) If the fault continues:
R - replace the ECB (59KD) (Ref. AMM TASK 49-61-34-000-001) and (Ref.
R AMM TASK 49-61-34-400-001).

R (a) If the fault continues:
R - do a check and repair of the aircraft wiring from the ECB
R (59KD) AB/4H,3H to the INLET TEMP SENSOR studs/alumel,chromel
R (Ref. ASM 49-62/02) (Ref. ASM 49-62/04).

R **ON A/C 001-049, 101-105, 151-199, 201-210,

R A. If the self test gives the maintenance message:
R
R - CHECK PRESS XDCR WIRING/ECB 59KD (Ref. TASK 49-00-81-810-852),
R - DIFFERENTIAL PRESS XDCR (8043KM) (Ref. TASK 49-00-81-810-853),
R - TOTAL PRESS XDCR (8044KM) (Ref. TASK 49-00-81-810-854),
R - SURGE CTL VALVE (8058KM) (Ref. TASK 49-00-81-810-871),
R - INLET GUIDE VANE ACTR (8014KM) (Ref. TASK 49-00-81-810-851) or
R (Ref. TASK 49-00-81-810-858).
R - LOAD CTL VALVE (8050KM) (Ref. TASK 49-00-81-810-861).
R - INLET TEMP SENSOR (8010KM) (Ref. TASK 49-20-00-810-803).
R - INLET OVERHEAT/CHECK APU INLET (Ref. TASK 49-00-81-810-843).

R B. If the IGV parameter values are out of range:
R - check that the EGT increase during a mode change (i.e. RTL to ECS).

R NOTE : RTL = Ready To Load

R (1) If the EGT does not increase:
R - remove the IGV ACTUATOR 8014KM (Ref. AMM TASK 49-23-51-000-004).
R - do a push/pull test on the IGVs to check the IGV movement.
R .make sure that the IGV has a travel range of 1 in. (25.3999 mm),
R .measure the force of the IGV movement.

R (a) If a force less than 20 lbf.ft (2.7116 m.daN) is necessary to
R move the IGVs:
R - replace the IGV ACTUATOR 8014KM (Ref. AMM TASK 49-23-51-000-R 004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-23-51-400-004).
