R (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized. R (2) Do not start the engines.

R 4. Fault Isolation

R A. If the fault symptom is identified by the CFDS message DELTA CURRENT GEN1 R CHANNEL or OVERCURRENT GEN1 CHANNEL and the upper ECAM-DU warnings GEN 1 R FAULT and AC BUS 1 FAULT: R - do a check of the feeders (Ref. ASM 24-22/01) for a short circuit or a R short to ground between:
R . pin L1 of the Current Transformer Assembly (CTA) (51XU1) and terminal R D of the GLC 1 (9XU1)
R . pin L2 of the CTA and terminal E of the GLC 1
R . pin L3 of the CTA and terminal F of the GLC 1.
R (1) If the feeders are not correct:
R - repair or replace the feeders as necessary.
R (2) If the feeders are correct:
R - do a check of the power distribution feeders (Ref. ASM 24-22/02)
R for a short circuit or a short to ground between:
R . terminals G, H and J of the GLC 1 and the primary circuit R breakers of bus 1XP
R . terminal M of the GLC 1 and terminal D of the BTC 1
R . terminal L of the GLC 1 and terminal E of the BTC 1
R . terminal K of the GLC 1 and terminal F of the BTC 1
R . terminals R, P and N of the GLC 1 and the lightning strike R protection module (19XU1).
R (a) If the feeders are not correct:
R - repair or replace the feeders as necessary.
R (b) If the feeders are correct:
R - replace the GLC-1 (9XU1) (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-000-001) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-400-002).

R 1_ If the fault continues:
R - replace the BTC-1 (11XU1) (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-000-001)
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 24-22-55-400-002).
R B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit
R breaker(s):
R 1XN1, 7XN1, 3XN1, 5XN1, 1XC, 1DG1, 1HQ, 2PU1
R C. Do this operational test to make sure that the system operates correctly.
