R (3) Do a bonding test between the main bonding point of the power control
R unit and the:
R - POB flange
R - hydraulic motor flange
R - valve block assembly flange.
R The resistance must not be more than 20 milliohms.
R (4) Connect the hydraulic lines.
R (a) Remove the blanking caps from the line ends (4).
R (b) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
R (c) Apply the HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the threads
R of the line end-fittings.
R (d) Remove the blanking plugs from the hydraulic motor (5).
R (e) Connect the case drain line (4) to the hydraulic motor (5).
R (f) TORQUE the union nut of the case drain line (4) to between 1.5
R and 1.7 m.daN (11.06 and 12.53 lbf.ft).
R (g) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the
R correct condition.

R C. Preparation for the Test
R (1) Remove the LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT from
R the right slat transmission.
R (2) Remove the LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT from
R the left slat transmission.
R (3) Pressurize the reservoirs of the Green and the Blue hydraulic systems
R (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
R (4) Pressurize the Green and the Blue hydraulic systems (Ref. TASK 29-10-
R 00-863-001) (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
R (5) Remove the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (Ref. TASK 27-00-
R 00-080-002) from the slat/flap control lever.
R (6) Remove the warning notice(s).
R (7) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other
R items.

R D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit
R breaker(s):
R 5CV, 7CV

R E. Test
R (1) Do the operational test of the slat system (Ref. TASK 27-84-00-710-
R 001).
R (2) Make sure that there are no leaks.

R A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
R (1) Make sure that the level of fluid in the relevant hydraulic reservoir
R is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or
R (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
R (2) Remove the container from below the hydraulic motor (5).
R (3) Remove the access platform(s).
