R  systems are depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001). 
R  (6) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE in position to tell persons not to 
R  pressurize the hydraulic systems. 
R  (7) Make sure that the LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-
R  PIVOT (98D27504030001) is installed to lock the left slat 
R  transmission. 
R  (8) Make sure that the LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-
R  PIVOT (98D27504030001) is installed to lock the right slat 
R  transmission. 
R  (9) Make sure that a CONTAINER 5 L(1 1/2 USGAL) is in position below the 
R  hydraulic motor (5).

R  WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL_______ 
R  MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. 
R  OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. 
R  PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. 
R  DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH.

R  THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT.

R  (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area. 
R  (2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. 
R  (3) Use the CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and fully remove the 
R  anti-corrosion compound from: 
R  - the mating face of the POB (9) 
R  - the mating face of the hydraulic motor (5). 
R  (4) Prepare a small quantity of a mixture of 58 % of the SPECIAL 
R  MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) and 42 % of the SPECIAL MATERIALS 
R  (Material No. 05-054). 
R  (5) Apply a quantity of the prepared mixture to: 
R  - the mating face of the POB (9) 
R  - the mating face of the hydraulic motor (5). 
R  (6) Apply the LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-001A) to the splined surfaces.

R  THE SECOND WRENCH, YOU WILL NOT LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO 
R  MUCH. 
R  CAUTION : YOU MUST INSTALL HYDRAULIC TUBES WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID AS_______ 
R  LUBRICANT. 
R  NOTE : The installation procedure for the hydraulic motor which is____ 
R  attached to the valve block 25CV is given. The installation 
R  procedure for the hydraulic motor which is attached to the valve 
R  block 26CV is almost the same. The differences in the procedures 
R  are given in the steps that follow. 
R  (1) Install the new back-up rings (6) and the new O-rings (7) on the 
R  transfer tubes (8). 
R  (2) Install the new O-ring (1) on the POB (9). 
R  (a) Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the threads 
R  of the bolts (3). 
R  (b) Engage the splines on the shaft of the POB (9) with those in the
