 Put the access platform in position at the opening of the main doors of the main gear.

 A. Removal of the Instrumentation Position Pick-Off Unit NOTE : Do not remove the Instrumentation Position Pick-off Unit when the
____ Pressure-off Brakes are removed from the Power Control Unit.
 (1)
 Remove the electrical connectors 4CN-A and 4CN-B from the Instrumentation Position Pick-off Unit (IPPU).

 (2)
 Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.

 (3)
 Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).

 (4)
 Remove the IPPU carefully from the gearbox.

 (5)
 Put a tie-wrap (3) behind the locking plate to prevent retraction of the locking plate.
