Install blanking covers on the open ends of the anti-icing ducts.

At the Nos. 7 and 8 slat tracks:

Remove and discard the cotter pins (18) from the nuts (29), (46),
(54)
and (55).
(b)
Loosen the nuts (29), (46), (54) and (55) but do not remove them.
(c)
Remove and discard the cotter pins (18) from the nuts (22), (26),
(48)
and (50).

the washers (23), (27), (47) and (49)

the bolts (19), (24), (40) and (41)

the bush (17).
NOTE : The bush (17) is a part of the slat track and the slat

track linkage assembly.
(5) Lift the slat from the slat tracks.
