TORQUE the nut (47) to between 2.2 and 2.4 m.daN (16.22 and 17.69 lbf.ft).

Safety the nut (47) with the new cotter pin (46).

If necessary, adjust the tab drive control-mechanism (Ref. TASK 27-54-61-400-003).

At the track 2 flap carriage, connect and if necessary, adjust the tab drive control-rod (73) (Ref. TASK 27-54-61-400-003). (Ref. Fig. 415/TASK 27-54-61-991-029)

Remove the DISTANCE GAUGES from the hinge 1A and the track 2 positions.
(5)
Install the ADAPTOR-DRIVE, SLAT (AND FLAP) (98D27804001000) on the right angle gearbox.

Use a pneumatic wrench to turn the ADAPTOR-DRIVE, SLAT (AND FLAP) to fully extend and retract the flaps. Make sure that the tab operates correctly.
(7)
Remove the ADAPTOR-DRIVE, SLAT (AND FLAP) from the right angle gearbox.
(8)
Remove the LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT (98D27504030001).
(9) Connect the right angle gearbox (Ref. TASK 27-54-41-400-001). Subtask 27-54-61-410-054
D. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the fairings at the hinge 1A and the hinge 1B positions (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-400-005).
(3)
Lift the flap track No. 2 movable fairing (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-410-001).

E. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 6CV, 8CV.
