Remove the nut (28), the washer (29), the bonding strap (30), the washers (31) and (32) and the bolt (33).

Disconnect the rear strut (24):
(a)
Remove and discard the cotter pin (19).
(b)
Remove the nut (20) and the washer (21).
(c)
Remove the bolt (26), the washer (25) and disconnect the rear strut (24).
(d)
Remove the sliding bush (27).
(8)
Disconnect the tab at the track 2 position:
(Ref. Fig. 415/TASK 27-54-61-991-029)
(a)
Remove the nut (58), the washer (59), the bolt (61) and disconnect the bonding strap (60).
(b)
Disconnect the tab drive control-rod (73) from the flap track carriage (Ref. TASK 27-54-61-000-003).

Disconnect the rear strut (53):
(a)
Remove and discard the cotter pin (56).
(b)
Remove the nut (57) and the washer (55).
(c)
Remove the bolt (49), the washer (50) and disconnect the rear strut (53).
(d)
Remove the sliding bush (54).
(10) Remove the eccentric bolt (69): NOTE : Write down the position of the punch marks so that the
____ eccentric bolt (69) can be installed in the same position.
(a)
Remove the nut (67), the washer (66) and the screw (65).
(b)
Remove and discard the cotter pin (62).
(c)
Remove the nut (63) and the washer (64).
(d)
Remove the toothplate (68) and the eccentric bolt (69).

(11) Remove the tab from the flap: CAUTION : HOLD THE TAB ALONG THE FULL LENGTH OF THE TRAILING EDGE.
_______ THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE TAB WHEN YOU MOVE IT.
NOTE : The weight of the inboard tab is 80kgs (176lbs).

(a) Remove the DISTANCE GAUGES from the hinges at the 1A and track 2 positions.
CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE DISCONNECTED PARTS DO NOT TOUCH
_______ AND/OR CATCH THE ADJACENT STRUCTURE WHEN YOU MOVE THE TAB. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE FLAP.
(b) Carefully and slowly lift the tab from the flap. CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE SUPPORT STRUCTURE IS CLEAN AND DOES

NOT HAVE ANY SHARP POINTS.
(12) Move the tab and put it onto the support structure. Subtask 27-54-61-020-062
B. If a replacement tab is to be installed, remove:
-the tab drive control-rod (73) from the tab at the track 2 position. (Ref. Fig. 415/TASK 27-54-61-991-029)
(1) At the track 2 position:
(a)
Remove and discard the cotter pin (70).
(b)
Remove the nut (71) and the washer (72).
(c)
Remove the bolt (74), the washer (75) and remove the tab drive control-rod (73).
