 (117) onto the fail safe tie-bar (111).

 TORQUE the nut (117) to between 5.0 and 6.0 m.daN (36.87 and 44.24 lbf.ft) with the SPECIAL WRENCH (0U145409).

 Safety the nut (117) with the tabwasher (116). Subtask 27-44-51-860-059

 B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 Remove the PIN - RIGGING (0U190360) from the mechanical input of the THS actuator.

 (2)
 Remove the PITCH TRIM CONTROL LOCKING (98D27403500000) from the pitch-trim control wheel in the flight compartment.

 

 (3)
 Remove the warning notice(s). Subtask 27-44-51-865-059


 C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 15CE1, 16CE1, 19CE1, 19CE2, 19CE3.

 (1)
 Pressurize the Green and the Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-863-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-863-002).

 (2)
 Turn the pitch-trim control wheel in the flight compartment and put the THS actuator to the 13.5 deg. UP position.

 (3)
 Make sure that the distance between the lower claw stop (112) and the nut assembly (120) is not less than 8 mm (0.3149 in.).

 (4)
 Turn the pitch-trim control wheel in the flight compartment and put the THS actuator to the zero position.

 (5)
 Depressurize the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-864-001).


 5. Close-up

 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

 Close the access door 312AR.

 (3)
