C. Modulation Depth
This paragraph gives the procedure to adjust the modulation depth of one
modulator channel of the UUT and uses the term "CHn", which can be one of
the UUT's modulator channels CH1 thru CH12.
(1) Use the same setup as the functional test setup (Figure 111).
(2) RF Output Connections
(a) Connect the input of the VMU tuner to the tester's RF OUTPUT RF1
connector with two RF cables (RFC2 and RFC3) and a 20-dB RF
attenuator.
(b) Connect BNC 50-W terminators to the RF OUTPUT RF2, RF3 and RF4
connectors of the tester.
(3) Set the impedance selector switch on the impedance selector to:

RD-AA5002-22
CH1 thru CH12 50W
CH1 thru CH11 50W

CH12 100W

(4) Connect the BNC tee adapter T1 from the impedance selector to the
tester's VIDEO INPUT CHn connector.
(5) Start the adjustment mode (ref. 5.B.).
(6) The user configuration is initially shown. If the frequencies are
not in the range from 151.25 to 283.25 MHz at intervals of 12 MHz,
click on the "FACTORY SETTING" button to set this frequency range.
