1 Click on the "END" button of the "ADJUSTMENT MODE" window.
You will see the "POWER OFF" box as shown in Figure 116B.
2 Make sure that the RS232-RS485 selector switch is set to
RS232, set the tester's POWER switch to OFF, then click on
the "OK" button. You will see the "CONTINUE-END SELECTION"
box as shown in Figure 116C.
3 Click on the "END" button to stop the tester program, then go
to Fault Isolation (5.).
(f) Click on the "BACK" button. You will see the "LOG-IN" dialog
box again.
(g) Click on the "NEXT" button. You will see the "MODE SELECTION"
box as shown in Figure 114.

(h) Click on the "INSPECTION MODE" button. You will see the "POWER
ON" box as shown in Figure 115.
(i) Click on the "OK" button of the "POWER ON" box. You will see
the "INSPECTION MODE" window as shown in Figure 117 after you
click on the "OK" button.

NOTE: The checks shown in gray letters are disabled. The video
level check for 100-ohm video inputs will be done as a part of
the video level check at Z = 50 ohms.

(5) Make sure that a check mark is shown in front of each enabled check
item, then click on the "NEXT" button. You will see the "USER
CONFIGURATION" window as shown in Figure 118 after you click on the
"OK" button.
NOTE: If you click on the "BACK" button, the "LOG-IN" dialog box
(Figure 113) will come back.

SPECIAL NOTE
The configuration data will be changed during the testing as follows:
· Before the RF level check, the user configuration data is erased
and test configuration data is set on the UUT.
· After the CH1 input selection check, the user configuration data is
put back to the UUT.
If you stop the testing before you complete it, the values at the
time when you stop the testing will become the user configuration
data.

(6) Monitor the window. The frequency values will show one after the
other in the sequence of channels 1 thru 12 as the user
configuration data.
(7) After you see the user configuration data for channels 1 thru 12,
click on the "NEXT" button and go to RF Level Checks (B.).

B. RF Level Checks: RF1, RF2, RF3, RF4 and RF Stop
Before you do the RF level checks given below, make sure that you gave a
warm-up time of 2 hours or for the UUT and instruments.
(1) You will see the "NOW SETTING" box as shown in Figure 119 for
approximately 30 seconds, then see the "RF LEVEL CHECK: RF1" window
as shown in Figure 120.

(2) Do as follows:
(a) Disconnect the BNC tee adapter T1 from the tester's VIDEO INPUT
CH1 connector.
(b) Make sure that:
· The spectrum analyzer is connected to the tester's RF OUTPUT
RF1 connector.
· A BNC 50-W terminator is connected to each of the tester's RF
OUTPUT RF2, RF3 and RF4 connectors.
(c) Make sure that the frequency is shown for each channel, then
measure the RF output level of each channel with the spectrum
analyzer.
(d) Click on the "PASS" if the RF output level is within the
minimum-maximum limits, or click on the "FAIL" if the RF output
level is too high or too low.

(e) Make sure that you put in the "PASS" or "FAIL" results correctly
for all channels, then click on the "NEXT" button.
NOTE: You can change the results if necessary before you click
on the "NEXT" button.
NOTE: The MIN-MAX values are 105-111 dBuV for "without MODx",
and 98-105 dBuV for "with MODx".
