The result is satisfactory if the video output level is:
1.0 ± 0.1 Vp-p (0.9 thru 1.1 Vp-p).
(10) Push the F7 key (VIDEO) again. You will hear a "click" (sound from
the UUT's A5RL1) and the white raster on the video monitor will go
off. The term "TEST VIDEO" for channel 1 on the screen will change
to "NORMAL VIDEO".

F. RF Level Tests
(1) RF1 Level Test
(a) Disconnect the BNC tee adapter T1 from the tester's VIDEO INPUT
CH1 connector.
(b) Disconnect the RFC2 cable (the RF attenuator) from the tester's
RF OUTPUT RF1 connector.
(c) Connect the RFC1 cable (the spectrum analyzer) to the tester's
RF OUTPUT RF1 connector.
(d) Make sure that:
· The UUT is continuously energized for not less than two hours.
· A BNC 50-W terminator is connected to each of the tester's RF
OUTPUT RF2, RF3 and RF4 connectors.
(e) Make sure on the screen that none of the channels are defective,
then measure the RF output level of each channel with the
spectrum analyzer.
(f) For each channel, the result is satisfactory if its RF output
level is:
UUT RF OUTPUT LEVEL
RD-AA5002-12 without MOD2,
RD-AA5002-22 without MOD4,
RD-AA5002-23 without MOD3
108 dBmV ±3 dB (105 thru 111 dBmV)
RD-AA5002-12 with MOD2,
RD-AA5002-22 with MOD4,
RD-AA5002-23 with MOD3,
RD-AA5002-25
102 dBmV +3/-4 dB
(98 thru 105 dBmV)
(g) Record the channel number and level if the result is
unsatisfactory.
(2) RF2 Level Test
(a) Disconnect the RFC1 cable from the tester's RF OUTPUT RF1
connector and disconnect the BNC 50-W terminator from the
tester's RF OUTPUT RF2 connector.
(b) Connect the RFC1 cable to the tester's RF OUTPUT RF2 connector
and connect the BNC 50-W terminator to the tester's RF OUTPUT
RF1 connector.

(c) Measure the RF output level of each channel with the spectrum
analyzer.
(d) For each channel, the result is satisfactory if its RF output

tester's RF OUTPUT RF3 connector.
(b) Connect the RFC1 cable to the tester's RF OUTPUT RF3 connector
and connect the BNC 50-W terminator to the tester's RF OUTPUT
RF2 connector.
(c) Measure the RF output level of each channel with the spectrum
analyzer.
(d) For each channel, the result is satisfactory if its RF output
level is:
