Throttle 1200 RPM
Turn-and-bank indicator (if installed) ON
Vacuum gage (if installed) Checked
Advisory panel test Positive
Landing gear indicator light test Positive
Flaps TAKE-OFF - LANDING - RETRACTED
Internal lighting ON
External lighting ON
Fuel pump ON
Auxiliary dry air pump (if installed) ON
Heated Pitot (if installed) ON
Airframe and propeller deicing (if installed) ON
Air conditioning (if installed) ON
"Radio master" (if installed) ON
All radios and navaids ON
Carry out an operational test of all radio and navaid instruments. Check :
- voltmeter Green sector
- Generation warning light OFF
All radios, navaids and electrical equipment
[except anti-collision lights (if installed)] OFF
Throttle REDUCE
B. Flux valve (if installed) and autopilot (if installed) check
- Flux valve : With slave gyro mode selected, check that the magnetic heading shown on HSI is
approximately the same as the magnetic heading on the standby compass.
- Automatic pilot : The autopilot check is described in Section 9 of the Pilot's Operating Handbook.

Maximum difference between magnetos 50 RPM
C. Spark plug clearing in case of RPM drop on each magneto exceeds 175 RPM
Throttle 2200 RPM
Mixture FULL RICH
Magneto selector BOTH
Mixture Slowly lean until EGT peak
Maintain during 30 seconds
Mixture Return to FULL RICH
CHT must not exceed 500°F (260°C).
