71-60 19) Visually inspect the hoses (corrugated hoses). 100  
71-60 20) Visually inspect the air filter(s) - refer to the spare filter package instructions. 100  
71-60 21) Visually inspect the deflectors, the inlet box and the air intake flap ; clean if necessary. Inspect for cracks and distortion, and check the attach fittings for condition. 100  
78-00 22) Visually inspect the exhaust pipe, the exchanger (and the muffler if installed), and thoroughly inspect the attach fittings, the casings and welds for cracks. 100  
78-10 23) Check attaching flanges at exhaust outlets on cylinder for evidence of leakage. If found loose, the flanges must be removed and machined flat before they are reassembled and tightened. 100  
78-10 24) Inspect exhaust manifolds for general condition. 100  
20-00 25) Reinforce the anticorrosion protection - refer to 100  
 20-00-04 201 and lubricate - refer to 12-21-01 201.

52-40 2) Install battery access door 243 (battery at the rear). 200  
 Check that it is correctly locked.   
52-40 3) Install inspection door 211R (front battery option). 200  
71-10 4) Install lower engine cowling 131 and upper engine
cowling 121 - refer to 71-10-01 201. 100  
 5) Check that all cowlings, access doors and fairings are correctly installed. 000  
 6) Perform a test run-up. Record the parameters (at engine shutdown) - refer to 05-30-02 201. 000  
71-10 7) After the test run-up, remove upper engine cowling 121 and lower engine cowling 131, and check for leaks (oil, fuel, air, exhaust gases). 000  
 If everything is normal, reinstall the engine cowlings and
check that they are correctly locked - refer to   
 71-10-01 201.   
 8) Record this inspection in the aircraft maintenance files 000  
 (airframe and engine log books).
