71-10 66) Visually inspect the attach fittings, the engine bulkheads and the baffles for integrity and security. 100  
71-60 67) Visually inspect the inlet pipes, the manifolds and their attach fittings. 100 NOTE 1 
71-60 68) Visually inspect the hoses (corrugated hoses). 100 NOTE 1 
71-60 69) Visually inspect the air filter(s) - refer to the spare filter package instructions. 100  
71-60 70) Replace the air filter(s). 100 1 year 
71-60 71) Visually inspect the deflectors, the inlet box and the air intake flap ; clean if necessary. Inspect for cracks and distortion, and check the attach fittings for condition. 100 NOTE 1 
71-60 72) Perform an operational test of the air intake flap. 100 NOTE 1 

NOTE 1 : If a 100-hr. inspection has been carried out during the last 3 months, do not perform this operation unless this annual inspection replaces a 100-hr. inspection. For US registered aircraft, perform all operations.

78-00-00 201, 78-20-00 201. 100 NOTE 1 
78-00 74) Thoroughly inspect the attach fittings, the tubes, the exhaust pipe, the exchanger (and the muffler, if installed). 100 NOTE 1 
 Look for welding defects and cracks on the inner and outer casings - refer to 78-00-00 201.   
78-10 75) Check attaching flanges at exhaust outlets on cylinder for evidence of leakage. If found loose, the flanges must be removed and machined flat before they are reassembled and tightened. 100 NOTE 1 
78-10 76) Inspect exhaust manifolds for general condition. 100 NOTE 1 
78-20 77) Check the steel wool in the muffler (if installed) for
condition - refer to 78-20-00 201. 100 NOTE 1 
 NOTE : After replacement of the steel wool, this check shall be performed at 300 hrs, then every 100 hrs until next replacement.   
78-00 78) Install the exhaust pipe and the exchanger (and the muffler, if installed) - refer to 78-00-00 201,
