C. Spark plug clearing in case of RPM drop on each magneto exceeds 175 RPM
Throttle 2200 RPM
Mixture FULL RICH
Magneto selector BOTH
Mixture Slowly lean until EGT peak
Maintain during 30 seconds
Mixture Return to FULL RICH
CHT must not exceed 500°F (260°C).
Perform a magneto check again.
If the RPM drop still exceeds 175 RPM, then abort the mission for further investigations.

6. SHUT-DOWN / SECURING AIRCRAFT

WARNING : THE TEST HEREAFTER MUST BE IMPERATIVELY CARRIED OUT WITH ENGINE POWER LOWER THAN 1000 RPM ; THE FAILURE TO OBSERVE THIS RULE MAY LEAD TO EXHAUST SYSTEM DAMAGE.
Magneto cut-off test OFF, then BOTH

Throttle 1800 RPM for 15 sec., then 1200 RPM
