R  19__  Set the L TK PUMPS 2 P/BSW (15QA) to ON (push in). This will
R  energize the contactor 19QA and the 115VAC three phases will 
R  be supplied to the fuel pump connector 25QA-A. 
R  20__  Use a multimeter to do a test, to make sure that each of the
R  115VAC three phases are available at the connector 25QA-A 
R  (Ref. ASM 28-21/02). 
R  21__  Set the L TK PUMPS 2 P/BSW (15QA) to OFF (release out). This
R  will de-energize the contactor 19QA. 
R  22__  If the 115VAC is available at the end connector 25QA-A:
R  a_  Install the front cover of the contactor box 107VU.
R  b_  Connect the end connector 25QA-A to the fuel pump
R  receptacle. 
R  c_  Do the test given in Para. 3.B.(2)(b).
R  23__  If the 115VAC is not available at the end connector 25QA-A, do
R  a test of the aircraft wiring (three phase supply) between the 
R  CNTOR-L WING TK PUMP 2 SPLY (19QA) and the PUMP-FUEL No. 2, L 
R  WING TK (25QA) free connector 25QA-A (Ref. ASM 28-21/02). 
R  NOTE : If necessary, you can divide the supply cable between____ 
R  the contactor 19QA and the connector 25QA-A into two 
R  sections at the connector 7117VC (Ref. AWM 28-21-03). 
R  Do the test as follows: 
R  a_  Continuity test, with a multimeter, of each three phase
R  wire (from end to end) (Ref. ESPM 20-52-21). 
R  b_  Insulation test, with a 500VDC insulation tester, between
R  each phase wire (pole) and ground (Ref. ESPM 20-52-24). 
R  c_  Insulation test, with a 500VDC insulation tester, between
R  each phase wire and the other two wires (pole to pole) 
R  (Ref. ESPM 20-52-24). 
R  d_  If during the wiring test in step 23_ the wiring is
R  unserviceable, repair/replace the unserviceable wiring and 
R  connectors.

R  e_  If the fuel pump supply cable is found to be unserviceable
R  (where it is routed across the lower surface of the wing) 
R  repair as follows: 
R  CAUTION : DO NOT USE IN-LINE SPLICES TO REPAIR SECTIONS OF_______ 
R  ELECTRICAL CABLE THAT ARE BEHIND A FAIRING OR IN 
R  A CONDUIT. 
R  THIS WILL MAKE SURE THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE 
R  THE REPAIR FOR AN INSPECTION (REF. ESPM 
R  20-53-29). 
R  f_  If necessary, replace the unserviceable:
R  - protective sleeve 
R  - wire(s) 
R  - connector 25QA-A. 
R  g_  Connect the new wire(s) of the fuel pump supply cable where
R  the wiring passes through the junction box (bracket 
R  assembly), by a splice(s) (Ref. ESPM 20-53-21). 
R  h_  Make sure that the length of the new supply cable when
R  assembled, between the front face of the connector 25QA-A 
R  and the forward face of the cable guide (that shows outside 
R  the wing-skin) is 1320 mm (51.9685 in.). 
R  i_  If necessary, make a final adjustment in the length of the
R  supply cable across the lower surface of the wing during 
R  the installation of the rear fairing. 
R  j_  Feed the surplus cable (small amount only) back up the
R  flexible conduit to the junction box (bracket assembly) on 
R  the rear spar. 
R  k_  Make sure that the supply cable is held tight by the P-clip
R  at the cable guide. 
R  NOTE : It is important that the fuel pump supply cable is____ 
R  installed correctly as given in steps g_ thru k_. 
R  Incorrect installation of the cable can cause it to 
R  get damaged. If the cable is too short it will put 
R  tension on the wires and plug. If the cable is too 
R  long you will not be able to install the fairings 
R  correctly. This is because the unwanted cable 
R  (excess length) will become looped and get trapped 
R  during the installation of the intermediate and rear 
R  fairings. 
R  l_  Install the front cover of the contactor box 107VU.
