R release the (unwanted) pressure.
R (1) Do the Inspection of the Overpressure Protector 102QM(103QM) (Ref. R AMM TASK 28-12-41-200-001).
R (a) If the overpressure protector 102QM(103QM): R R - and the related items are as specified, no more troubleshooting R work steps are necessary R R - is found to be serviceable but the related items are not as R specified (example, corroded, wire mesh damaged), make them R good before you do the close-up R R - safety disc has operated (is broken or damaged), do Para. 4.A.
R NOTE : The overpressure protector 102QM(103QM) is included as a
____ 
R  Possible Cause in the related TSM procedure (Unwanted Fuel 
R  Transfer (Migration) Between The Outer and Inner Cells of 
R  The Same Wing When The ECAM FUEL System Page ICTV 
R  Indications Show Correct (Ref. TASK 28-15-00-810-815)).

R NOTE : Read all of the steps in this paragraph before you start work.

R The order in which the work steps are done is best decided by the
R maintenance staff together with:
R - other malfunction indications
R - the fuel configuration
R - the aircraft location.

R  (1) If the (frangible) overpressure protector 102QM(103QM) has operated 
R  (is broken), it is important to do all the steps that follow to find 
R  what caused it to break. 
R  NOTE : The reasons why a burst disc can break are as follows:____ 

R  - a defective/unserviceable disk (non standard) 
R  that breaks below the (its) correct operating pressure 

R  - a serviceable disk that operated because the pressure 
R  difference between the center tank and the adjacent left 
R  wing tank was more than the correct safe operating pressure 
R  (Ref. AMM 28-12-00 P.Block 001). 
R  (2) Do a check of the applicable fuel tanker or fuel hydrant hose end 
R  pressure. 
R  (a) If the fuel pressure is more than 50psi (3.45bar): 

R  - change the fuel pressure if possible or 

R  - get another source of fuel supplied at the correct pressure. 
R  NOTE : If the fuel tanker or fuel hydrant hose end pressure is____ 
R  more than the maximum safe pressure it can cause: 
R  - a refuel valve that has been commanded to shut, to stay 
R  open 
R  - a overpressure protector (burst disc) to operate 
R  - damage to the refuel gallery. 
R  (3) Do an Inspection of the Tank Venting System items that follow (Ref. 
R  AMM TASK 28-12-00-200-001): 
R  (a) The VALVE-FLOAT VENT, L WING TK OUTR (15QM) (VALVE-FLOAT VENT, R 
R  WING TK OUTR (18QM)) and replace, if necessary, (Ref. AMM TASK 
R  28-12-43-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-43-400-001). 
R  (b) The related refuel spill pipe and replace, if necessary, all 
R  unserviceable items (example, damaged or blocked) (Ref. AMM TASK 
R  28-12-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-46-400-001). 
R  (4) Replace the PROTECTOR-OVERPRESSURE, L WING TK (102QM) ( 
R  PROTECTOR-OVERPRESSURE, R WING TK (103QM)) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-41-
R  000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-41-400-002). 
R  (5) If, when all the tests and inspections are complete: 

R  - the cause(s) of the operation (broken/damaged) of the overpressure 
R  protector 102QM(103QM) has been found (and all the related 
R  unserviceable LRUs replaced) refuel the aircraft and return it to 
R  service
