- the multimeter negative/low input to a suitable aircraft ground.
(1) Do the Power Up FLSS BITE test and monitor:
- the XFR Valve movement on the ECAM, FUEL System Display (lower ECAM DU).
- the multimeter reading.

NOTE : If the aircraft is already supplied with electrical power,
____ reset the FQIC. (Pull, then push the C/Bs M27 on 121VU and A13 on 49VU). The FLSS BITE test is carried out once a short time after power up.
NOTE : The intercell transfer valves (ICTVs) are motor driven and the
____ power for these circuits is derived from the main power. The ICTVs are immobilized on battery power.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If while the FLSS BITE test is in progress, the voltage reading on the multimeter changes from:
- 0VDC to 28VDC after an initial warm up period
- 28VDC to 0VDC on completion of the Transfer Valve movement. No maintenance steps are necessary.
(1) If the voltage remains at 0VDC or 28VDC, replace the FQIC (3QT), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-34-400-001).
(2) Do the test given in Para 3.A.
(3) If the fault continues do a wiring check (Ref. ASM 28-15/02) of the aircraft wiring between the terminal Z, RELAY-L OR R REAR XFR VALVE OPEN LATCH (13QP) and the pin 10B, connector AB, FQIC (3QT).
(4) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.
(5) Do the test given in Para 3.A.
