R (2) Do a check of the applicable fuel tanker or fuel hydrant hose end
R pressure.
R (a) If the fuel pressure is more than 50psi (3.45bar):
R
R - change the fuel pressure if possible or
R
R - get another source of fuel supplied at the correct pressure.
R NOTE : If the fuel tanker or fuel hydrant hose end pressure is____
R more than the maximum safe pressure it can cause:
R - a refuel valve that has been commanded to shut, to stay
R open
R - a overpressure protector (burst disc) to operate
R - damage to the refuel gallery.
R (3) Do a check of the related L(R) wing-tank refuel valve 7QU(8QU) as
R follows:
R (a) Remove the applicable refuel valve 7QU(8QU) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-
R 51-000-001).
R (b) Do a visual inspection of the refuel valve 7QU(8QU), valve
R position.
R 1 If the valve is (stays) in the open position, replace the_
R VALVE-REFUEL, L WING TK (7QU) (VALVE-REFUEL, R WING TK (8QU))
R (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-
R 400-001).
R 2 If the valve is in the closed position or if the valve is_
R replaced in step 1_, do an operational test of the applicable
R wing-tank refuel valve 70QU(8QU) (to see if it can open and
R close) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-710-003).
R 3 If there is any malfunction of the refuel valve 7QU(8QU)_
R and/or related sub-systems, refer to the Troubleshooting Fault
R Symptoms List, for the related Task number, and do the
R necessary troubleshooting.
R (4) Do an Inspection of the Tank Venting System items that follow (Ref.
R AMM TASK 28-12-00-200-001):
R (a) The VALVE-FLOAT VENT, L WING TK INR (16QM) (VALVE-FLOAT VENT, R
R WING TK INR (17QM)) and replace, if necessary, (Ref. AMM TASK 28-
R 12-43-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-43-400-002).
R (b) The L(R) wing-tank vent-pipe/duct and replace, if necessary, all
R sections that are unserviceable (example, damaged or blocked).
R (5) Replace the L(R) wing-tank (inner-cell) overpressure protector (Ref.
R AMM TASK 28-12-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-46-400-001).

R (6) If, when all the tests and inspections are complete:
R
R - the cause(s) of the operation (broken/damaged) of the overpressure
R protector installed on access panel 540HB(640HB) has been found
R (and all the related unserviceable LRUs replaced) refuel the
R aircraft and return it to service
R
R - no cause for the operation (broken/damaged) of the overpressure
R protector access panel 540HB(640HB) can be seen (or found) send
R AIRBUS a report of the incident.
