- troubleshoot the LRU(s) before you start more Steps. Refer to P. Block 101, CFDS for the related Page/Task number.
(6) Do the:
- Operational Test of the Main Fuel Pump System with Fuel Flow by Transfer (Ref. AMM TASK 28-21-00-710-007)
- Functional Test of the Center Tank Fuel Control (Ref. AMM TASK 28-21-00-720-001).
(7) If any Manual Mode fuel pump failures are detected in Step (6):
- troubleshoot those pump failures before you start more steps. Refer to P. Block 101 for the related Page/Task number.
(8) If an ECAM warning or FAULT legend failure is found:
- do the Fuel Pumps - Center Tank Autofeed Warning and/or FAULT Legend Failure (Ref. TASK 28-21-00-810-816).
(9) If the Fuel Pump Auto Feed system operates as specified:
- no maintenance steps are necessary.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the FUEL - AUTO FEED FAULT warning/FAULT legend is given or the system fails to operate as specified:
(1) Make sure that the slats are fully retracted:
- retract if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005).
(2) Refuel (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-003), defuel (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or transfer fuel (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001) to obtain these fuel levels:
- left wing tank 5100 kg (11244 lb)
- right wing tank 5100 kg (11244 lb)
- center tank more than 250 kg (550 lb).

(3) Set the Electronic Centralized Aircraft Monitoring (ECAM) system to on (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001), then: - on the ECAM control panel, push (in) the FUEL P/BSW
- make sure that the FUEL page shows on the ECAM lower Display Unit (DU).
(4) Push (in) the P/BSW-CTR TK/MODE SEL/AUTO (48QA) (set to auto).
(5) Push (in) all the fuel pump P/BSWs (set to on).
(6) Examine the FUEL page on the ECAM lower DU.
(7) If the following occurs:
(a) Both the center tank pumps 1 and 2 are shown off.
1 Remove the SFCC No 1 (21CV) and 2 (22CV) in turn from their
_ racks (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-34-000-001).
2 Examine the FUEL page on the ECAM lower DU.
_
3 If the center tank pumps 1 and 2 operate correctly:
_
- replace the SFCC-1 (21CV) or SFCC-2 (22CV) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-34-400-001).
4 If the fault continues:
_
a Do a check of (Ref. ASM 28-21/04), and replace if
_
necessary:
- the RELAY REFUEL/DEFUEL CTL PNL DOOR (14QU).
b Do a check of (Ref. ASM 28-21/04), the:
_
- aircraft wiring ( 16 degrees signal(ground) line) between the SFCC No 1 (21CV) rack connector AA, pin 10H and the RELAY-CTR TK PUMP 1 CTL (51QA), terminal A3
- aircraft wiring ( 16 degrees signal(ground) line) between the SFCC No 1 (21CV) rack connector AA, pin 10H and the RELAY-CTR TK PUMP 2 CTL (52QA), terminal A3
- aircraft wiring ( 16 degrees signal(ground) line) between the SFCC No 2 (22CV) rack connector AA, pin 10H and the RELAY-CTR TK PUMP 2 CTL (52QA), terminal A3
- aircraft wiring ( 16 degrees signal(ground) line) between the SFCC No 2 (22CV) rack connector AA, pin 10H and the RELAY-CTR TK PUMP 1 CTL (51QA), terminal A3.
5 Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.

6 Do the tests given in Para. 3.A.

2 Examine the FUEL page on the ECAM lower DU.

3 If the center tank pump 1:
_ a Operates correctly and shows on:
_
- replace the FLSCU-1 (7QJ) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-400-001).
b Shows off:
_
- install the original FLSCU-1 (7QJ) removed from its rack in Step 1_ (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-400-001).
4 If the fault continues:
_
a Do a check of (Ref. ASM 28-21/04), and replace if
_
necessary, the:
- RELAY-CTR TK AUTO CONTROL, PUMP 1 (41QA)
