R (a) If the check is not correct:
R - repair or replace the wiring as necessary
R - replace the RCPT-EXT PWR (20XG) (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-51-000-R 001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-51-400-001) as necessary
R - energize the aircraft electrical circuits from the external
R power (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
R (b) If the check is correct:
R - energize the aircraft electrical circuits from the external
R power (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
R 1_ If the external power energizes the electrical circuits:
R - stop the trouble shooting.
R 2_ If the external power does not energize the electrical
R circuits:
R - do the trouble shooting given in Para. 4B.
R B. If the external power does not energize the electrical circuits:
R - do a check of the status of the GND/PWR/PROT circuit breaker (2XG).
R (1) If the circuit breaker is open:
R - close it.
R (a) If the circuit breaker trips:
R - do a check and repair the Point-Of-Regulation (POR) sense
R wiring of the external power (Ref. ASM 24-41/01) for a short to
R ground or short circuit between:
R . pin A2 of the GND/PWR/PROT circuit breaker (2XG) and pin R B/15J of the GAPCU
R . pin B2 of the GND/PWR/PROT circuit breaker and pin B/14J of R the GAPCU
R . pin C2 of the GND/PWR/PROT circuit breaker and pin B/13J of R the GAPCU.
R (2) If the GND/PWR/PROT circuit breaker (2XG) is closed:
R - do a check of the Point-Of-Regulation (POR) sense wiring (Ref. ASM
R 24-41/01) for an open circuit or a short circuit between:
R . pin A/J of the EPC (3XG) and pin B/15J of the GAPCU
R . pin A/H of the EPC and pin B/14J of the GAPCU
R . pin A/G of the EPC and pin B/13J of the GAPCU.
R (a) If the wiring is not correct:
R - repair or replace as necessary.

R (b) If the wiring is correct:
R - do a check of the external power feeders (Ref. ASM 24-41/01)
R for an open circuit, a short circuit, or a short to airframe
R between:
R . pin A of the external power receptacle (20XG) and pin A/K of
R the EPC (3XG)
R . pin B of the external power receptacle and pin A/L of the EPC
R . pin C of the external power receptacle and pin A/M of the
R EPC.
R 1_ If the feeders are not correct:
R - repair or replace as necessary.
R 2_ If the feeders are correct:
R - replace the GAPCU (24XG) (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-34-000-001)
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-34-400-001).
R C. Do this procedure to make sure that the system operates correctly.
R (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits from the external power
R (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
R (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits from the external power
R (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
