A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Removal of the Lower Supply Pipe of the Left Latch
(1) Put a container 1 USgal (4 L) under the lower latch of the blocker door.
(2) Disconnect the lower supply pipe from the lower latch and let the hydraulic fluid drain into the container.
(3) Remove the bolt and the washer that attach the upper half clamp to the middle hydraulic line bracket.
(4) Remove the nut and the bolts that attach the double flange and the upper half clamps to the double hydraulic line bracket.
(5) Remove the bolt and the washer that attach the upper half clamp to the lower hydraulic line bracket.
(6) Disconnect the lower supply pipe from the upper latch.
(7) Remove the lower supply pipe from the forward frame.
(8) Put protective covers on the pipe ends.

CAUTION : USE 2 WRENCHES TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS.

ONE WRENCH TO HOLD THE UNION AND ONE TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE
COUPLING NUT. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE HARDWARE.
