A. Installation of a sling
(1) Install HANDLING SLING (RSE1133) to core nozzle.
(2) Lift the sling until it supports the weight of the core nozzle assembly (5).

B. Removal of the core nozzle assembly
(1) Remove the Turbine Rear Frame (TRF) drain tube (20). (Ref. TASK 71-73-49-000-005)
(2) Remove the bolts (25), washers (30), and nuts (10) that attach the core nozzle assembly (5) to the engine flange (88 locations).
(3) Remove the core nozzle assembly (5) from the engine.

B. Removal of the core nozzle assembly
(1) Remove the Turbine Rear Frame (TRF) drain tube (20). (Ref. TASK 71-73-49-000-005)
(2) Remove the bolts (25), washers (30), and nuts (10) that attach the bracket (15) to the core nozzle assembly (5).

(3) Remove the bolts (25), the supports (35), and the nuts (10) that attach the core nozzle assembly (5) to the engine flange. (18 locations)
(4) Remove the remaining bolts (25), the washers (30), and the nuts (10) that attach the core nozzle assembly (5) to the engine flange . (68 locations)
(5) Remove the core nozzle assembly (5) from the engine.
