(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the access platform is in position.
(4) Make sure that the blocker doors are deployed (Ref. TASK 78-32-41-860-001).
(5) Make sure that the SAFETY SLEEVE - PIVOTING DOOR ACTUATOR (HIX3005) is on the blocker door actuator (Ref. TASK 78-32-41-480-001).

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the blocker door stow-switch
(1) Put the blocker door stow-switch on to the aft side of the forward frame.
(2) Install the bolts and the nuts which attach the stow-switch.
(3) TORQUE the bolts to between 61 and 70 lbf.in (0.68 and 0.79 m.daN).
(4) Apply sealant: WARNING : BEFORE THE USE OF SOLVENT, PROTECTIVE FILM OR SEALANT
_______ CAREFULLY READ THE APPLICABLE "MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET" AND FOLLOW ALL LISTED SAFETY AND HEALTH PRECAUTIONS. USE THESE PRODUCTS IN AN AREA OPENED TO THE AIR AND WEAR PROTECTION GLOVES. THESE PRODUCTS ARE FLAMMABLE AND VAPOR IS DANGEROUS. THEY MAY CAUSE IRRITATION OF EYES, NOSE, THROAT AND SKIN. HIGH CONCENTRATIONS MAY CAUSE WEAKNESS, HEADACHE, NAUSEA, DIZZINESS AND IMPAIRED JUDGEMENT.
(a) Apply RTV 106 (Material No. CP2267) between the stow-switch and the forward frame.
(5) Connect the electrical harness on to the connector of the blocker door stow-switch.
(6) Tighten the coupling nut of the stow-switch connector with the softnose pliers.
