A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the access platform is in position.

A. Installation of the Blocker Door Deploy Switch
(1) Install the blocker door deploy switch against the trigger.
(2) Connect the beam electrical harness to the deploy switch.
(3) Tighten the coupling nuts of the deploy switch connectors with softnose pliers.
(4) Attach the deploy switch to the blocker door with the four bolts.

(5) TORQUE the bolts to between 70 and 80 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.90 m.daN).
(6) Attach the deploy switch access door with the three screws.
(7) TORQUE the screws to between 35 and 45 lbf.in (0.39 and 0.50 m.daN).
5. Close-up

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(3) Remove the warning notice(s).
(4) Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 78-31-17-710-050
C. Do an operational test of the thrust reverser system (Ref. TASK 78-31-00-710-042).
