A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure

Subtask 78-31-41-869-053
A. Operational Test of the Secondary Lock. (Ref. Fig. 501/TASK 78-31-41-991-308, 502/TASK 78-31-41-991-305)
NOTE : The procedure is the same for each actuator.
____
(1) Turn the Dzus fastener on the thermal blanket (40) to loosen it and remove the blanket from the blocker door latch (15).
(2) Turn the manual unlock shaft on the blocker door latch to the unlock position with a 5/16 in. (7.9 mm) wrench.
NOTE : The manual unlock shaft can be accessed through a slot on the
____ right or left side of the blocker door latch.
(3) Pull the blocker door by hands to make sure that the door cannot open. If the door opens, replace the actuator (Ref. TASK 78-31-41-000-001) or (Ref. TASK 78-31-41-400-001).
(4) Push in on the blocker door until the latch engages to close the blocker door.
(5) Put the thermal blanket (40) on the blocker door latch (15). Turn the Dzus fastener on the blanket (40) 1/4 turn to lock it.
