A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Drain the pipes of the latch system.
NOTE : The procedure is the same for LH and RH side.
____
(1) Put a container 1 USgal (4 l) under the lower and upper blocker door latches.
(2) Disconnect the nuts of the return and supply pipes from the lower and upper blocker door latches. Let the hydraulic fluid drain completely from the pipes.
(3) Reconnect the nuts of the return and supply pipes on the lower and upper blocker door latches.
(4) TORQUE the nut to between 1.5 and 1.7 m.daN (11.06 and 12.53 lbf.ft).
(5) Remove the container.

CAUTION : NEVER BLANK OFF HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) RETURN HOSE AND RELEASE
