R According to the new throttle control lever position, the ECU commands
R the stow sequence as follows:
R - The ECU sets the thrust power to idle during transit.
R - The ECU closes the HCU directional valve and opens the HCU pressurizing
R valve to provide pressure only to the retract side of the blocker doors
R actuators.
R - The actuators stow the blocker doors.
R - The secondary and primary locks are engaged and locked.
R - The stow switches send to the ECU a stowing information signal.
R - The ECU closes the HCU pressurizing valve. The pressure is removed from

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:

(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.

(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:

(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

(1) Open the fan cowl doors: (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040) FOR 1000EM1 437AL, 438AR FOR 1000EM2 447AL, 448AR

(2) Put the access platform in position.

R (1) Move the HCU lever forward to make the thrust reverser unserviceable R (see sheet .1).
R (2) Install the LOCK-OUT PIN (HIX3008) to hold the lever in the OFF R position (see sheet.2).
R NOTE : The quick-release pin is NOT used in this procedure.
