(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Installation of the Beam Electrical Harness WARNING : BEFORE THE USE OF SOLVENT, PROTECTIVE FILM OR SEALANT CAREFULLY
_______ READ THE APPLICABLE "MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET" AND FOLLOW ALL LISTED SAFETY AND HEALTH PRECAUTIONS. USE THESE PRODUCTS IN AN AREA OPENED TO THE AIR AND WEAR PROTECTION GLOVES. THESE PRODUCTS ARE FLAMMABLE AND VAPOR IS DANGEROUS. THEY MAY CAUSE IRRITATION OF EYES, NOSE, THROAT AND SKIN. HIGH CONCENTRATIONS MAY CAUSE WEAKNESS, HEADACHE, NAUSEA, DIZZINESS AND IMPAIRED JUDGEMENT.
(1) Apply a layer of blindexite RT 342/2 (Material No. CP2318) on the harness flange surface that will contact the forward frame.
(2) Install the beam electrical harness through the hole in the forward frame.
(3) Connect the beam electrical harness to the blocker door deploy switch.
(4) Tighten the coupling nuts of the deploy switch connectors with soft nose pliers.
(5) Attach the beam electrical harness to the forward frame with the three bolts.
(6) TORQUE the bolts to between 70 and 80 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.90 m.daN).
(7) Connect the forward frame electrical harness to the beam electrical harness.
(8) Attach the deploy switch access door with the three screws.
(9) TORQUE the screws to between 35 and 45 lbf.in (0.39 and 0.50 m.daN).
