4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Upper Supply Pipe of the Left Latch
(1) Put a container 1 USgal (4 L) under the upper latch of the blocker door.
(2) Disconnect the upper supply pipe from the upper latch and let the hydraulic fluid drain into the container.
(3) Remove the nuts and the bolts that attach the flange and the upper half clamp to the upper hydraulic line bracket.
(4) Disconnect the interface hydraulic hose from the upper supply pipe.
(5) Remove the nut that attach the upper supply pipe to the interface bracket.
(6) Remove the upper supply pipe from the forward frame.
(7) Put protective covers on the pipe ends.

CAUTION : USE 2 WRENCHES TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS.

ONE WRENCH TO HOLD THE UNION AND ONE TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE
COUPLING NUT. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE HARDWARE.
